From Chile to Argentina, the first real snow of the season blanketed the high mountains and based on the following photos, the winners are located in the central Andes. Portillo, Valle Nevado, Penitentes and Las Leñas all did well and barring a big temperature swing upwards– this snow will end up being the base for the rest of the ski season. Fingers crossed!
