How Growing Up In Ultra Remote New Zealand Helped This Mountain Biker's Path To Success

Pro biker Casey Brown had to hike 8 hours to get to the nearest road where she grew up in a truly isolate part of New Zealand which gave her the grit and character to excel in the world of mountain biking once her family immigrated Canada. This is her story as told by Red Bull’s new series ‘The Way of the Wildcard’:

Brought up in near solitude within the New Zealand wilderness, Casey Brown and her brother kept themselves entertained by honing their skills on the FMB track with the aim of making it pro. Casey’s world changed when her family moved to Canada, and she was faced with integrating herself into society as well as battling to the top of the world stage.”
