Powder days turned into weeks, which ultimately turned into months and from the looks of the photos, nobody was complaining. The northern Idaho ski area also set a record for guests with a final tally of approximately 255k skier visits.

  • Average Annual Snowfall — 300″
  • Total Snowfall 2017/2018 — 434″

In addition to the record snowfall and visitors, Schweitzer was also able to push its operations 10 days longer than normal.

“I don’t think any of us quite expected to see as much snowfall as we did in the end. We were really fortunate to have such quality snow throughout the season.” – Dig Chrismer, Marketing Manager Schweitzer Mountain Resort
