“Trails are already crowded, are we going to have more people because of these E-Bikes?”

The jury is out on whether or not to allow battery powered E-Bikes on the same trails as traditional pedal powered bikes in Colorado. Policies vary across the state with Boulder having fully embraced the new technology, in Denver they are restricted in parks and on trails, and Jefferson County is currently doing research on their impact with the hope to have recommendations out his winter.

Where do you stand on E-Bikes sharing the trails you love with regular cyclists? If you were a policy maker would you allow, prohibit, or create restrictions for E-Bikers? Please let us know how you feel.
