A dam that was under construction unexpectedly failed sending workers fleeing for their lives from the raging waters. The dam failure occurred in the Laos province of Xieng Khuang.
According to many reports, the Nam Ao Hydropower Project had been under construction since 2015. The project was 85 percent completed when the dam burst.
Fortunately, everybody managed to avoid the raging waters with no injuries or deaths reported.
