Very interesting behind the scenes look at a chairlift installation posted by Kicking Horse. I have never seen this done but it makes total sense they would compress the rope to release the tightly wrapped spiral and insert the connection. Forward this along to anyone who rides the Pioneer chairlift or just likes mountain ops stuff in general.
