Over a foot of fresh snow just hit the upper elevations of two Tahoe resorts while many others are reporting between 5-11″ at their respective summits.

The new snow is a welcome sight for Tahoe locals who got to see their first prolonged period of sunny skies and spring like temperatures over the past two weeks. Now, it’s back to storm skiing today before a sun arrives on Thursday– providing a brief break in the weather before snow returns this weekend.
