Highlands skied like a dream today, with a fresh dusting overnight and a perfect bluebird morning. A steady storm brought in ten inches of new snow to Aspen this week, hitting refresh and breaking the dreaded February warm spell.

It was a perfect day to ski the bowl, with great visibility up top and untracked lines even after the last lap. Pockets of fresh powder are plentiful especially in the trees on the upper mountain, with cold temps keeping the snow soft and light.

A new system will move through Aspen starting this evening with up to a foot forecasted by Wednesday morning. Winter is back in full force! Read more about that incoming weather here.
