Mt. Rose will not be able to keep its bold promise to Tahoe skiers and riders to open up for operation on Halloween.  A recent warm snap along with rain has pushed back Mt. Rose’s October 31st projection.

According to SF Gate, “It won’t be cold enough for skiing and snowboarding, said the National Weather Service. Temperatures in the area were expected to reach as low as 41 degrees Saturday morning, then dip down to a tantalizing 36 degrees early Sunday.”

Sorry to get your hopes up Tahoe peeps, fingers crossed for a cool down so they can get their guns firing.  Happy Halloween!
