Boulder blocks road in Zion National Park

A boulder the sized of house fell onto Zion-Mount Carmel Highway, State Route 9, in Zion National Park shutting down the highway between Canyon Junction and the East Entrance. The rock fell after a flooding caused by a severe thunderstorm according to reviewjournal.com.  The park is working with a hazard geologist from the Utah Geological Survey to remove the rock safely and reopen the road.
