“You couldn’t have a better place in the world to rip GS turns” -Ted Ligety
Deer Valley scored themselves a world class spokesman with their new partnership with two-time Olympic gold medalist and hometown hero Ted Ligety.  Ligety has been a staple at the Utah resort since he was only a few months old cruising the slopes in his dad’s backpack and its great to see represent his home resort a Deer Valley’s Global Athlete Ambassador.
Ligety spoke with parkrecord.com about the new partnership and had this to say:
“I grew up skiing Deer Valley. I’d have to ask my parents if it was the first place I put on skis or not, but I know I have a lot of pictures with my dad and I’m on his back skiing Deer Valley. I skied there a ton growing up and have always gone there when I’m home. It’s always a fun treat — we go ski on Christmas day with the family. I’ve put a ton of miles in on that mountain. I’m super excited to be aligned with Deer Valley officially and not just secretly skiing there.”
