High Altitude Warfare School (HAWS) trainers held training rescue sessions for soldiers at high altitudes near Line of Control (LOC) in Jammu and Kashmir’s Gulmarg region. Can’t be sure how much emphasis was put on avalanche safety prior to this most recent disaster but it’s never too late to educate.
