Great news from the first official Sierra snowpack survey of 2015! Last year at this time it was only 45% of normal so we can all be thankful for that, including California water official who are “cautiously optimistic” about the impact of the snowpack on replenishing the states water reserves after brutal draught conditions suffered in the recent past. Did you know that 30% of California’s water comes from the snowpack in the mountains….so even if you live in SoCal you should keep your fingers crossed for snow up North!
