A grizzly murder scene at the Alta Sierra Ski Area, located close to Bakersfield, California has resulted in three people being taken into custody.

Two of those taken into custody pleaded no contest to accessory to murder charges, reports bakersfieldnow.com. Joan Noble entered her plea deal on December 1st, while her boyfriend, a one Thomas Ertz entered his deal on November, 25th. The couple are two of the defendants in the case, and sentencing for both is now scheduled for January 20, 2016.

The two reportedly assisted Bobbie Ryhnes cover up the murder of Carl Woolwine after Woolwine reportedly made ‘creepy’ remarks about Ms. Noble.

In an interview conducted while incarcerated, Noble recalled Woolwine’s comments, which she described as involving “sexual innuendo.”

“They were just joking around about firing him, and kicking his butt. And then Bob said, ‘Well, I’ll just shoot him,'”– Joan Noble

According to the coroner’s office, Woolwine died from gunshot wounds.
