Often known for white ribbons of death and over-priced lift tickets, one Colorado ski resort is taking an alternative path. On opening day, November 25 (one day prior to Thanksgiving), Crested Butte Ski Resort will offer free passes to the skiing public!

No strings attached, the resort located north of Gunnison, CO will offer one free ski pass for simply showing up to opening day. As of today, the resort is under a winter storm warning and is forecasted to get up to 13 inches by Tuesday morning with more snow in the forecast!
