“I heard a rumor that the mountain is opening this weekend…”

And that rumor is true!

According to Aspen Skiing Co., Aspen Mountain will be open this Saturday and Sunday. The opening comes a full 12 days before their planned opening date, which had been set for Thanksgiving weekend. However, El Niño has treated Aspen to some seriously significant snowfall and as a result, lifts will spin!
