While Apple CEO Tim Cook was working on the iWatch, a true inventor, designer, and manufacturer was working on the biggest invention since the printing press. Enter the Hot Tub Hammock and creator Benjamin H. Frederick.

After seeing this newly designed “Hydro Hammock,” which is currently on KickStarter, I’ve got the mind to tell Apple’s Cook to pound sand.
The new invention is a combination of human ingenuity and luxury that makes almost any setting hot tub friendly. Not to mention, the KickStarter video includes some ménage a trois action, awkward chocolate eating, and some weird holes dug into the beach. #Winning.

Although the price tag is a whopping $1,310 USD, the novelty that comes with a portable hot tub hammock is worth the price alone. Suddenly your buddies’ sick Whisperlite cook set looks really lame as you set up a hot tub hammock in the middle of camp. Also, it appears as though his girlfriend is now your girlfriend. Whoops.

The system also has shower capabilities allowing for a 3 hour recycled bathwater based shower experience… Sound legit?

All in all, the Hydro Hammock is a little heavy for your typical day pack at 82 pounds but what are snowmobiles and ATV’s for anyways?
