A 15-year-old teenager has been arrested in connection with two reported attempted sexual assaults at Colorado’s Monarch Mountain ski area.

The suspect, whose name has not been released because of his age, was arrested on Tuesday, by Chaffee County Sheriffs.

The two incidents, alleged to have taken place on Dec. 19, 2014 and Jan. 1, 2015, involve teenage girls who were riding the lifts alone. The suspect is accused of harassing the girls on the lift and then following the girl down the mountain and attempted to force them into the woods. In the Jan. 1 incident, the suspect allegedly fired a handgun in an attempt to coerce the victim’s cooperation.

The sheriff’s office indicates that charges to be filed against the suspect include felony menacing, aggravated criminal extortion, enticement of a child, false imprisonment, two counts of criminal attempt to commit sexual assault, two counts of criminal attempt to commit 2nd degree kidnapping, and harassment.
