POWDER ALERT! Deep Pow will be falling in central and northern Idaho,BC, Montana and Wyoming between tonight and late Tuesday (12-18). The Tetons will get nailed again! Colorado gets 7-10 inches in leftovers Tuesday afternoon into early Wednesday. Some epic openings will be had this week! Snowbird Ski and Summer Resort opens it’s tram tomorrow! We forgot to mention New Mexico nabbed powder! Taos Ski Valley, New Mexico grabbed 12 inches. The week ahead looks wet in the Northwest, Rising snow levels (6-7,000 feet), Snowier in BC, and a trend for the northern Rockies
New England grabs powder from Wednesday afternoon through Thursday. Highest amounts will be in the south and central portions of New York, New Hampshire, Vermont and Maine (4-9) Further north will be lighter. .
Long term models bring snow back to perhaps the Sierra by the weekend or next week. Chases might include Grand Targhee Tuesday, North Colorado Wednesday and perhaps hit the opening of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort on Thursday! Happy Thanksgiving everyone.
