A series of weather systems continues in the Northwest through next week. Snow will be falling at higher elevations (Mid mountain today, upper peaks Saturday). The northern Sierra will see light snow at high elevations on Saturday. A stronger surge of cold air comes into the PNW Sunday (More mid-mountain snow) and takes aim at the Rockies Sunday night/Monday. I am bullish for North Yellowstone, Stanley Idaho, and light snow in Colorado by late Monday. Here is a powder map for the next 5 days.
