- Skier visits nationwide climbed 11 percent over last season.
- Skier visits in the Pacific Southwest and Northeast regions were up 20 percent over last winter.
- Southeast was up 17.2 percent.
- 78 percent of reporting ski areas posted increases in visits.
- Skier visites were up up 16 percent during the Christmas and New Year’s holidays
- Skier visits were up 25 percent during the March 26 to closing period.
