According to the National Ski Areas Association ski visits rebound this season after last years down turn.  

By The Numbers…

• 56 Million Skier Visits Nationwide
• Skier visits nationwide climbed 11 percent over last season.
• Skier visits in the Pacific Southwest and Northeast regions were up 20 percent over last winter.
• Southeast was up 17.2 percent.
• 78 percent of reporting ski areas posted increases in visits.
• Skier visites were up up 16 percent during the Christmas and New Year’s holidays
• Skier visits were up 25 percent during the March 26 to closing period.
