Huge Avalanches everywhere this winter and I guess Maritime Alaska is no exception. This is some of the nuttier surveillance footage you’ll ever come across and it really illustrates the force of a large avalanche. The last employee left the building at 7:30 and this slide slammed into it at 7:48! So lucky, this thing destroyed everything in its path and apparently it took 3 days to remove all the snow from the warehouse. This happened in a small fishing town of 1000 residents called King Cove, 625 miles from Anchorage, near the western tip of the Alaska Peninsula.
