If you haven’t noticed it’s POURING outside in Whistler right now. If you’re reading this, you’re zoning out on the couch surfing the net. Time to get out and have some fun. Here’s 5 things to do in Whistler today on your well deserved day off of shredding.

Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre

Lots of Cool displays and artwork, a general admission ticket is good for a full year if you’re a BC resident. It’s worth going here just for the café, Venison chile and smoked salmon chowder are on point.

The Core

Whistler’s climbing gym. It’s not huge, but the bouldering routes are well thought out and there’s some difficult stuff as well. A great place to spend a rainy afternoon if you’re looking for some exercise.

Whistler Brewery Tour

Coming in at under $14 this is a pretty good deal. You get 4 taster sized beers and you learn about the facility and process of brewing beer.

Yoga

Neo-alpine is my favourite, but it involves a trip to Function. If you’re in the village, check out Yama yoga across from 7/11.

Bounce

Call ahead to find the best time to go, as it does get busy here. Super fun trampoline facility with foam pits, tramp boards, and all sorts of stuff to have fun with.

If you can think of any other fun, inexpensive things to do in Whistler leave them in the comments below.
