*UPDATE*: Mike Livak, Squaw Valley’s Senior Vice President, just walked out of the Unofficial office after informing us that we are “pulling shit out of our ass” and that the Funitel will not be closing on April 16th. Later in the conversation he wen’t on to say that “only a handful of people knew that this was the plan as of this morning but things have changed due to the approaching storm”. So there you are.

SQUAW VALLEY SPRING OPERATIONAL SCHEDULE:

– Funitel will maybe close on Monday, April 16th, 2012

– Funitel will maybe re-open for weekend of April 20-22nd, 2012

– Only Granite Chief, Links, Shirley Lake, Mainline, & Bailey’s Beach (The Big 5) starting April 23rd (maybe )

– Last day of skiing/riding at Squaw = April 29th, 2012 (The earliest closing date we can remember) Confirmed
