April shower might bring May flowers. But they also provide the perfect amount of wind buffed snow to spruce up the Chimney and and get ‘er ready it for a very hungry Squallywood populous. This past Friday saw the largest Chimney session of the season, here’s what went down:

The Sweep

  • Fast and firm wind buff
  • Moderate air out the bottom
  • Perfect Transition

Center Line

  • 4 foot cornice drop in
  • A few inches of pow on a perfect ramp in
  • Moderately large air out the bottom
  • Right to left booter or left to right smooth air options

Easy Street

  • Icy death strip up top
  • A bit o’ boot out the bottom
  • Perfect pow landing
  • Definitely not so easy

With more snow in the forecast, it’s more than probable that we will be seeing the Chimney once again.  If it’s not going to snow in December, January, or February, we might as well get it in April!
