This weekend is looking like a glorious spring ski weekend in Tahoe.  Highs in the 50s, lows in the 20s.  This will be good for the snow as it’ll freeze at night (so it won’t become slop) and then soften quick in the morning.

This equates to high quality beer drinking weather.  On a warm, spring, weekend ski day you’re allowed to start drinking at 10am.  Which is nice.

It sounds like the wind will be the only issue.  Winds are forecasted to be between 10-20 mph.

THE FORECAST:

Tonight: Partly cloudy, with a low around 19. West wind around 10 mph becoming southeast.

Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 50. Breezy, with a south wind between 10 and 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph.

Saturday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 22. South wind between 5 and 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.

Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 53. Breezy, with a south wind 5 to 10 mph increasing to between 15 and 20 mph. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph.

Sunday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 25. Breezy, with a south wind around 20 mph, with gusts as high as 35 mph.
