This is Oakley White-Allen’s run in theĀ Freeride World Tour, Verbier venue. As you can see he really never commits a full turn after the exposure at the top, just cliff-avoiding leans, hence the ‘straight line’ mentioned in this post’s title. With volume you can hear Oakley in the finnish say his leg hurt too much to get any air time that run, so he decided to make up for his lack of cliff drops with speed. He was hauling fu*king b***s! Fortunately, Oakley’s binding’s held tight for this run and he finished the Verbier comp in 7th place, and 5th overall on the year. Props to Oakley for that burley line and a sick year!
