Above is Oakley’s run from the Verbier comp last Saturday in Switzerland. The Verbier competition is the big daddy of them all in Freeskiing/Freeriding. It is held on the famous Bec de Rosses face, one of the most intimidating faces I have ever seen. Only the cream of the cream of the crop are even invited to this event and it is an honor for any athlete to ever make it to this level. After a big finish at this years Revelstoke, BC comp on the Freeskiing World Tour local hero Oakley White-Allen was invited to join the mostly European dominated Freeride World Tour. Oakley did very well at several events on their tour including a 3rd place finish in the freeskiing Mecca of Chamonix. This run scored Oak 7th at Verbier and landed him in 5th overall on a tour that he wasn’t even part of at the beginning of this season.
