Conditions yesterday were firm off piste softening up somewhat in the afternoon on Eastern exposures protected from the wind.

Conditions at Squaw this morning:

– Light snow is falling.

Current Temperature is 23 F at High Camp with winds at 19 mph out of the SW.

– Temperature at the base is 33 F

– 1 inch of new snow on the upper mountain and a dusting at the base.

Highs today are in the high 30’s up to 40 F. Intermittent cloud cover and new snow will likely prevent any softening of the snow today.

Snow is forecasted throughout the week expecting 1-2 inches throughout the day today and 1-3 additional inches tonight. A second system should arrive Tuesday night with the possibility of 6-12 inches along the crest and an additional storm will come in Friday that could bring larger amounts snow to Tahoe. We might be looking at another great weekend next week if it lines up.
