In mid-January as the winter in Utah seemed to have forgotten to show up for the year, three members of the Dubsatch collective  took matters into their own hands and headed to Alaska in search of snow and epic winter adventures. You were all informed of this excursion, but now the video edits from the trip are beginning to surface.

This is episode 1 and recounts the journey northward and some frozen camping, with a bit of Alaskan jibbing and bush plane rides intermingled. It’s a well put together edit with great shots and a great soundtrack; Leo Ahrens even strums on some skinny stringed instrument for a time (dulcimer?). Hopefully the weather and avi conditions lightened up for the crew later in the trip so we can see some more Chugach lines and ski footage in the next episode.
