Here’s video of a crazed drunk storming into an English pub wielding a gas-powered chainsaw…
The incident happened this past August at the Endyke Pub in Hull, United Kingdom. 24 year-old Dean Dinnen was apparently thrown out of the bar for not putting out his cigarette. The drunken and drugged Dinnen then returned 50 minutes later with the chainsaw and managed to gash someone’s arm in the process.
Endyke Pub footage shows the man approaching the bar with the chainsaw, threatening patrons inside, and then ultimately being beat down on the sidewalk by the patrons. Interesting clip to say the least.
Dinnen has been jailed for three years after pleading guilty to causing grievous bodily harm, possessing an offensive weapon, damaging property and affray.
“The man walked in with a chainsaw and started it up,” said Kelly Wilds, who was at the pub at the time of the incident. “Someone threw a chair to try to get the chainsaw out of his hands. But he chopped the chair in half with it.
“All of the women were screaming and running around the pub.
“It was manic and a shock. Everyone just panicked. You don’t expect something like that to happen in your local” added Wilds.
Lesson learned. Don’t get drunk, drugged-up and tough while brandishing chainsaws in pubs and disturbing the peace. You’ll pay for it. That was ‘mental’!
