Athlete Name: Matthew Evans
Freeride Program & Head Coach: Crested Butte Mountain Sports Team – Woody Lindenmeyr
Woody Lindenmeyr – “Matt is one of the most dedicated skiers I have seen. He is out there enjoying the sport every chance he gets, which is 6-7 days a week. It is difficult to get him to take a day off. He is a complete skier too. He can ski the park and pipe, tear up bumps, race a course. There are no bad ski days for Matt, but of course the steeps, cliffs, and powder are where he is most comfortable and happiest. It has been a privilege to coach him the past 5 years.”
