Mount Hood Meadows will be putting other ski resorts to shame this New Year’s Eve. They’ll be spinning their lifts until Midnight, allowing skier and riders to rip turns right into 2012. On top of that they’ll have a band playing at the base area, a feast, a dj, contests, giveaways, a party, and a firework show set to blow at 10:15 on the last day of 2011.
MOUNT HOOD ON NEW YEARS:
– Lifts spin until 12:00am
– Band “The Essentials” will play from 9pm – 12:15am
– DJ before the band and during breaks
– Contests & giveaways
– Feast
– Reservations need for feast and party
– Buses will run from Monarch Hotel in Clackamas (to mountain at 3pm, leave mountain at 12:30am)
– Special 3pm – 12am lift tickets available for $49
