A 19 year old kid in Bozeman, Montana is being accused of breaking into an Arc’teryx rep’s garage and stealing $60,000 of 2012 Arc’teryx clothing. The new clothes aren’t available to the public, yet.
The rep reported the burglary on November 1st and the cops came sniffin’ around. They found an Arc’teryx product label in the parking lot of a very nearby apartment and starting going door to door in the apartment complex.
When police went to the apartment of this kid, he answered the door wearing a pair of Arc’teryx pants that matched the description of what had been stolen. Genius, kid.
The cops could also see tons of Arc’teryx gear strewn all over the apartment behind the kid as he answered the door.
The final, and funniest thing in this case, is that this kid was having a hard time hauling all the boxes to his apartment after stealing them. So, he had a coupla neighbors help him bring the boxes into his apartment at about 2 or 3am.
This poor kid is being charged with felony theft and is being held in the Gallatin County Detention Center on $10,000 bail.
