In early September Unofficial reported that Snow Park Technologies will build Squaw’s new terrain parks this upcoming season. We’re now extremely excited to share that Jessica Richitelli will be our new terrain park manager! Jessica brings more than nine years of park experience to Squaw, experience we all know is needed and celebrated for the rad park(s) we’re going to have for the 2011-2012 season. Jessica has a background in park construction and maintenance, as well as sponsorship relations, hiring, training, marketing, and event execution.

Chris Gunnarson is the president of Snow Park Technologies. He was recently quoted, “Jess has a proven track record to be a rock star as a park manager and a leader.  She will be instrumental at Squaw as the resort works to put their terrain parks on the map.”

The woman herself also spoke about her role at Squaw sharing, “Our first step will be to deliver a consistent, high-quality park – one that is consistently well maintained.” “We want to make sure we are meeting people’s expectations, and then we can work towards exceeding them.”

She went on, “I was really excited to about Squaw’s renewed dedication to terrain parks as part of the resort’s renaissance and their partnership with SPT.” “I’m thrilled to be working with SPT and the Squaw Valley team to bring the terrain parks up to par with the mountain’s incredible terrain. The possibilities at Squaw are truly endless.”

With the addition of Jessica Richitell and Snow Park Technologies, not only is KSL making good on their promises to revamp overall aspects of the Squaw Valley USA ski experience, but now our terrain parks and half-pipes may rise to the level of the rest of our inbounds terrain. Imagine that? Some of the best lift-serviced terrain on the planet AND a world-class park! 2011-2012 is clearly going to be a monumental year for Squaw Valley USA.
