It seems that the County Planning Commission is looking to revise the rules on what Ski Resorts build for Summer recreation. This could put the Mountain Coaster back on the table if the rules are changed enough. Snowbird wants to expand its successful Summer business and I can’t blame them. More money means more lifts, which means more skiing for all of us. I am not against a Mountain Coaster, but over the road is not the place for it. I remember a conversation a few years back when I was told Snowbird wanted to build the Coaster from the top on Wilbur Chair. Maybe they are asking big now so they can settle for a little smaller later…
