The days are getting shorter and the nights are getting colder, but summertime is still kicking.  Even though the festivals and weekly events are over, there is never a lack of fun times to be had  in Jackson.  Even without organized events, one could fill their time with amazing activities constantly.  But here are a few options to get out and enjoy the town.

The Laff Staff Mike Yokel Park, 7pm Thusday

If you haven’t seen the Laff Staff, this is a perfect time to check them out for free.  They are putting on a free outdoor show at the park tonight and it should be a good time.  This crew is quick on their feet and alway find a way to keep the audience laughing.  Grab a blanket, chair and whatever else you may need to enjoy the fine evening,

Art Walk Town of Jackson, 5-8pm Thursday

Every month Jackson Hole Gallery Association puts on an art walk.  The participating galleries will have an ‘Art’ banner displayed outside their establishment.  It is a great time to check out the local artists are up to, and what the galleries have this month.  There is quite often snacks and beverages offered at each of the stops.

Safety Orange Town Square Tavern, 10 pm Friday

I got to say, Town Square Tavern has a sweet deck and provides the most constant entertainment in town.  Safety Orange is from San Diego and brings some reggae, rock, surf sound from that neck of the woods.  Sure there will be some good songs to rock out too and others to hang back and enjoy the grooves.  The show only costs $5.

Blistered Earth Town Square Tavern 10pm Saturday

Take one of the wildest bars in Jackson and add a Metallica tribute band, man things are going to get crazy.  If you like Metallica, this will be a fun night.  Nothing like getting a good buzz on and rocking out to some quality metal.  It will cost you 10 bucks to get in the door and it will be worth every penny.
