The weather has been much better than the wettest spring on record, trails are dry, temps are coolish and overall its summer time and the livin’s easy in Vermont. Get out and enjoy it!

Friday July 15th – For the readers who have a little bit of class, unlike this dirty, sweaty mountain bike ski bum. There is wine tasting tonight at the Trapp Family Lodge. Wine, Cheese, and Bread yummm….maybe I will show up to this.

Saturday July 17th – The Vermont Lake Monsters vs Aberdeen Ironbirds, first 2000 fans receive a free Stowe Mountain Resort summer attractions vouchers. Cheapest way to ride the alpine slide in town.

Saturday July 16th and Sunday July 17th – The Vermont Mountain Bike Festival is taking place in central Vermont. There will be guided rides in, Mad River Valley, Waterbury, Hinesburg and the Greater Stowe trail system.  As well as skill clinic, demos and bar be ques. Should be a great time for all ages and abilities in the Mountain Bike Mecca of central Vermont.

Sunday July 17th – After the Mountain Bike Festival there will be some strange country being played in the Trapp Family Lodges Meadow. The Crooked Still will be playing Music in Meadow. These guys rock!!! in a tripped out country sort of way.


Sunday July 17th – Roots 66 Present the Wrath of the Boneyard. 4 miles laps of technical east coast singletrack. For those closer to the coast this could be a great way to go find some cardio fueled adrenaline.
