If there’s a better tent out there than the VE 25, I’m yet to come across it. The North Face VE 25 tent is, essentially, the end-all tent for any sort of camping. Be it car-camping or heading to the highest, most remote peaks in the world, the VE 25 has you covered. What makes the tent so special? It’s really a number of things. Most importantly- in my book at least- is that it’s extremely light and  easy to set up. When the wind’s howling and it’s dumping, you don’t want to be fumbling with an over-engineered tent that’s difficult to set up. The VE 25 is as simple as it is light, and you can be out of the elements in just moments. While the VE 25 is technically a three man tent, it easily can sleep four, as long as you’re willing to put some of your gear in the vestibule. I’ve even heard of rescue situations where six people have hunkered down in it. If you’re more of a boat/car camper, you’ll also be happy to know that a queen-size air mattress fits nicely in the VE 25, with room to spare. Yes, it’s a little pricier than other tents, but it will cover your butt in any possible camping condition you may come across. Not to mention, it will most likely last you the next couple of decades.
