With all this June powder and more on the way, we’ve gotta ask the question:
Who is still open?
Because if you’re still open you’re a champion in the eyes of the die-hard-ski-freak, and there happens to be a lot of them around here.
WHO’S STILL OPEN:
Aspen Mountain, CO -Closing Date: June 5th, 2011
Arapahoe Basin, CO – Closing Date: June 19th, 2011 (Sat & Sun only)
Grouse Mountain, BC – Closing Date: July 1st (Sat & Sun only)
Snowbird, UT – Closing Date: July 4th, 2011 (Fri, Sat, Sun only)

Timberline Lodge, OR – Closing Date: September 5th, 2011

WHO’S OPEN 4TH OF JULY WEEKEND:

Sugar Bowl, CA (only open on 4th of July and only to 10/11 & 11/12 pass holders)
Timberline Lodge, OR
Whistler, BC (opens again on June 18th for daily glacier skiing/riding)
If you still wanna ride lifts, you certainly still can. It’d be sweet if we still had something in Tahoe open daily or at least just during June powder days.
