JACKSON HAS NO SHORTAGE OF EATERIES.. Looking through the “Dining” section of the Daily, it seems like most food options are covered ad nauseum. There’s nearly  half a dozen Thai places for crying out loud. However, if you’re looking for good pizza and sandwiches, look no further than Betty Rock Cafe.

Located at the corner of Pearl and Jackson, Betty Rock dishes out a variety of lunch and dinner eats, that wont break the bank. Their variety of pizza, sandwiches, soups, and salads have options for even the most discerning diets. A meal for two usually runs around $20, sans booze. Although they sell beer and wine on site, they also have a BYOB program- a bottle of wine or six pack will run you a $5 corkage fee.

Perhaps the best thing Betty Rock has going for it is its all-you-can-eat pizza night on Thursdays. For $11, sample all of Betty Rock’s pizza, all night long. If you stay late enough, you might even catch a slice of dessert pizza. So, if you’re in the mood for good sandwiches, pizza, soups, or salads, hit up Betty Rock for lunch or dinner.
