Whistlers infamous bike park is now open for summer operation. Though we have had our second snowiest season on record, it hasn’t slowed the trail crew down from getting trails open for the Canadian May long weekend. Several machines, and a team of esteemed diggers have effectively cleared 12 trails for the vast mountain bike community to enjoy. Rain and Sun will slowly chip away at the icy snow pack that La Nina left behind, and the trail crew will be working hard to open the remaining lower mountain trails over the next couple weeks.
I went out the other day with filmer Matt Dennison and my teammate Paul Stevens and we produced this bike park preview with NSMB. Check it out.
