Summer is coming and it is time to drop some of that PBR weight that you have been adding onto your bod on the Tram Deck every afternoon this spring. It is time to go pump some iron or do some classes at the gym and Xcel is my personal recommendation. Â I have been a member for the last six or seven years and I can honestly say that it is the best in town. The place is clean and has more than enough equipment to keep you moving on even the busiest times of the day.
There are other things that make Xcel awesome too. (See above) My buddy Luke calls it the Center of All Hot Chicks in the Universe and that is hard to argue with. There is something motivational about having loads of beautiful women working out in your general area. It is not scientifically provable, but I guarantee you that it it true.
If you want to ski your best all season long and avoid injury it is a good idea to hit the gym hard all Summer and Fall and do maintenance workouts during the winter. Pop in the iPod and get after it. Xcel is open 24 hours Monday-Friday at around 10:00pm and like 6:00am-6:00pm on the weekends, so your excuse about not having enough time will not fly.
My only complaint would be the old naked guys that hang out in the hot tub, WTF? I have a hard time relaxing when some old naked guy is trying to talk to me…oh well nothing is perfect.
