Sorry I have been slacking on my posts from the last few days. I just got some terrible news that Ryan Hawks has passed away from injuries sustained during the North American Freeskiing Championships at Kirkwood on Sunday Feb. 27th, 2011. I am having a hard time typing so I will keep it short.
This video is from the powder day before Ryan was injured. We had gotten about 30 inches a snow and the mountain was skiing great. MSI had decided to hold off on the comp until Sunday to give the snow a chance to settle and to give the patrol time to work on controlling the Cirque.
