Remember all that HIDEOUSLY POURING RAIN on Thursday? Â Remember those ridiculously high snow levels that were above the top of Squaw? Â I don’t. Â I hired a young French-Local mountain guide, Jehren Bohem, and was swiftly escorted to the goods on friday. Â We went up Mt. Rose, and using nothing but our own human power we toured deep into the high country and found some amazing ski terrain….and then went skiing on it. Â We were all FLABBERGASTED when we found 5 inches of powder covering the horrible spines and chutes that were suddenly surrounding us. Â We were out all day and were forced to witness one of the most spectacular sunsets Lake Tahoe has every conducted. Â Forced.
