Telluride is hosting the US Snowboardcross World Cup through the weekend with three events taking place on Misty Maiden. This is probably the biggest event of Telluride’s winter season and an amazing spectator event. Anyone that has gone up Chair 4 the past few weeks has seen just how much hard work and snow goes into putting on this event. Take some time the next few days to check out the best Snowboard racers in the world competing right here in Telluride for the second straight year. These races promise high speeds, big airs, and HUGE crashes! This is certainly a can’t miss event on the Telluride calendar.

Today will see the Men’s & Women’s Parallel Giant Slalom Qualifications from 9:00-11:00am with the Finals from 1:00-3:00pm. Tomorrow, the real excitement begins with the Men’s & Women’s Snowboardcross Finals from 1:30-2:45pm, with an award ceremony directly afterward. And finally on Saturday, the Team Snowboardcross Finals, a relay style event involving teams of two riders, will be from 1:00-2:15pm.

Here are the start list brackets for Friday’s Snowboardcross Quarterfinals:

Men’s Quarterfinals

Ladies’ Quarterfinals

The Snowboardcross events will be televised Dec. 26 on NBC at 3 p.m. ET.
