June seemed to be the Unofficial Kickoff to Spring in Tahoe. All over town people are busting out their bikes, kayaks, pogo sticks, long boards and all the other Tahoe summer toys. The snow pack is just now releasing it's grip on the higher elevations but the ski touring could continue for another month or more. There has even been rumors that Squaw will be open for skiing on 4th of July weekend.
