Winter returned to Tahoe over the weekend with snow falling to as low as lake level. A June snowstorm dropped as much as 6″ of snow at the higher elevations. According to NOAA Reno, a June snowstorm occurs about once every 5-10 years, often following active winters like the historic 2016/2017 season.
