Heavy snow in the Cascades will eventually transition over the Tetons beginning early Sunday morning and continue through Monday night. Models direct several waves of snowfall directly over the Tetons into early next week.  Light to moderate precipitation will be falling especially Sunday morning and again during Monday. Valentines Day Powder will be flying at the upper elevations.  Lower elevations will see lighter amounts. There might not be any single deep dump however the sum totals through early next week should approach 14-17 inches at upper elevations.  Refresh guarantee and perhaps more snow late next week. Lower amounts at the bases and warming temps by Monday.

The Tetons can expect 1-2 inches Saturday night, 3-7 inches Sunday and another 4-8 inches on Monday. Snow will continue into Monday evening before tapering off on Tuesday morning.  Temperatures and density will be best on Sunday before some warming occurs on Monday.  High elevation snowfall will be likely through the period.  Lower elevations will see some mixing on Monday. Turning conditions will continue to improve into early next week. Best days to ride will be late Sunday, AM/PM Monday and 1st chairs/tram Tuesday.
