Guys Blackcomb had a theme song. What happened?
Check out Blackcomb’s commercial from 1987. These were the good old days. The video makes skiing look AWESOME (and it is). Notice the friendy staff look back and the hot girl, it’s got a silhouetted chairlift and the child saying “hot dog” (completely random by the way), the commercial even starts with some dude sporting a perfect mustache. No helmets and some good-ol fashion skiing. Everyones having fun! Ten years later Intrawest, the company that owned Blackcomb Mountain, would purchase Whistler Mountain to form Whistler-Blackcomb.
